What do we recommend when brushing is not enough?

When it comes to really hard-to-reach spots in your child's mouth it can be difficult for a toothbrush to reach the small cracks and grooves on their teeth.

In some cases, we recommend dental sealants to give teeth extra protection against cavities and early tooth decay.

After we seal the tooth, those grooves become smooth and are less likely to accumulate plaque.

Why sealants?

This type of treatment is typically a preventative measure against tooth decay after their permanent teeth have emerged.
